We are a decentralized AI start-up set to launch our main chain next year. We're focused on expanding our engineering team to meet the demands of our growing client base. We're looking for a backend engineer with experience in decentralized inference systems and decentralized storage architectures.
Role Overview:
As our Senior Backend Engineer, you will play a critical role in enhancing and expanding our decentralized AI platform. You’ll work on features integral to our blockchain infrastructure, such as distributed inference, decentralized storage, and API integrations. This role requires a hands-on expert familiar with building distributed ML systems at scale who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and scale backend services to support distributed inference across nodes.
- Build and maintain APIs and SDKs to enable client integration with our decentralized ecosystem.
- Contribute to the architecture of decentralized storage solutions and inference systems.
- Leverage and implement tools like GCP Functions, Pub/Sub, and CI/CD pipelines in GCP.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure smooth deployment and scalability of backend features.
Requirements:
- Experience: Strong track record in backend engineering, ideally within decentralization/blockchain, distributed systems, or ML production environments.
- Languages: Proficiency in Go and Rust; familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with decentralized or distributed inference systems; experience with Cosmos SDK, EVM (non-smart contracts), or similar technologies.
- Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with GCP Functions, Pub/Sub, and setting up CI/CD pipelines within GCP.
- Bonus Skills: Experience running ML systems in a distributed and decentralized way, contributing to decentralized AI solutions.
